My first picture

Since I have occasionally talked about one of my true passions painting. But I wanted to take today to explain that little by little I begin to diversify my investments in art to other disciplines. Specifically a couple of months ago I bought my first picture. Juan Curto , as well as good friend is an expert in photography. Some years ago we agree together in a Master of Management Galleries in IART . I, possibly sooner or later open a gallery, but it was John who was ahead of me and a few months, very brave, jumped into the river opened a gallery specializing in photography, technique less popular and less than market painting and sculpture today. Today has been a couple of years and its hall, Camera Obscura , is an indisputable leader in photography in Spain, participating in national and international fairs. I wanted to put in the hands of John to buy my first picture. And I offered several alternatives. I think I enjoy and understand a bit of contemporary painting, I admit being a total zero in photography and in these cases is essential and being advised to learn from a professional.

Finally I chose this photo of a South African artist who was unknown to me named Johann Ryno de Wet . The picture is disturbing and large format and I am very happy with my first purchase of a photograph. I think you will like, its title "The Guardian" (2006).
