The second Internet bubble

One of my favorites is Steve McCoy analysts, I usually read in the Confidential and I must say that I love, but is a true ash.

Yes, ash because it is so catastrophic in its sectoral and economic analysis that sometimes one is left wondering "how awful" and another makes you think very conservative "just right" ... In the current circumstances all the people who predicted the arrival of a major global crisis 12 or 18 months ago, have been exalted to the level of economic gurus. They are almost the only winners of the crisis at the moment.

Anyway, I was reading his article " The second Internet bubble ", in which he speaks, as usual, the Apocalypse, the end of the world, let the big crash ... In this case on the Internet.

Although my beloved and admired McCoy ash focuses on digital media for analysis, has left me the title of his thoughtful article. Is a second bubble? And what is worse, can it now?.

My categorical answer is NO. We are having a tough time in a very bad result of global economic times. But bubbles? Here ... where?.

Should there be a fall from above, and as far as Spain is concerned is im-po-si-ble. Nothing to do this time, possibly in excess of realism and minimal amounts of money in the market for Tics with the time now to remember me, at least it evokes a smile Teknoland, Diversa, Underwater, Cool, Future City , Channel 21, Demasiado.com .... only recall some of that come to mind.

Nothing to do with modern times. At that time the money appeared in each corner on the sole merit of "an idea" without experience in management, without validating ideas internationally, without real numbers, with no advertising market and electronic commerce and the most amazing mature without Lord of the tickets had no idea where and how put them ... now this situation has nothing to do with that.

In the ICT sector moves even a little money on advertising and e-commerce, far fewer than we expected 10 years ago, but the market is mature and these follies of unlimited money injections in no case has been happening in Spain. In fact, the effect is the opposite, antithesis, should have more money to good and mature projects are not sufficient funding to the withdrawal-possibly-chastened of major operators such as Telefonica's investment in startups.

So I tell my favorite jinx: "No way Jose" and that is that I admired Steve, confuse the digital media industry with the internet, and nothing to do one thing with another. The digital press is not the Internet: the Internet is a global medium.

And especially for that is that inflating bubble to burst, and here, nobody has had anything to inflate lungs years ago. Nothing to click friend, this subpar good and evil remains subpar Spain.
