Interview with La Opinión de Málaga
I leave you with the last interview, published in the newspaper La Opinión de Málaga ", on March 30.

Is it good time to start a business with the crisis?
Far from being problem I see as an opportunity. With the crisis have gone 350,000 companies and 260,000 self-employed, 14% of the business fabric of the country. It is a disgrace, but still needed services and, at the same time, there is less competition. Yo, I'm an entrepreneur, but also private investor, I say that there is money to invest, but you need good business projects. In 2007 90% of entrepreneurs were vocational, now are 50% and 50% were unemployed, of necessity, arise to put a company.
"In a business project, the most important is the idea?
I've never met anyone with an idea can revolutionize the world. Much the idea is idealized, but is only part of the road. The key is in the execution of that idea. Your first idea was for network Facebook was not to but to Classmates, ten years earlier. But Facebook's performed well. There are many companies whose initial idea has nothing to do with the one that finally gave them success.
Is it all over the world to entrepreneur?
It takes a vocation, a personal moment right where you are able to make sacrifices and, above all, training. The idea that we can all be entrepreneurs is a fallacy, not true. Some people do not give the profile, or has three sons and three mortgages, so it would be irresponsible on his part played everything on one card in a business venture. Furthermore, we live in a country where universities are turning their backs to the world of business and do not teach entrepreneurship.
What is the reality of opening a business?
Only 10% of the companies created survive their third year of life, the rest breaks. I do not understand why the government desire to push the unemployed to set up businesses capitalizing on unemployment. It would be better to teach them to survive and overcome the red line of the third year of life, when a company is consolidated. In recent years a proliferation of incubators and other business incubators to this task ... Well, incubators help, but sometimes I think they are simply a face. Some councils take the ride to a press release later this year to say how many companies have helped create, and in fact are rather self-employment of people. End up being low-cost business center. The key is not how many, but whether the aid to compete and create jobs.
How to save the reef to get a loan?
We are in a very difficult time. Bank financing is closed and the public, focusing mainly on the Official Credit Institute (ICO) is a joke. We sold the ICO Direct but its 2,500 million euros have been awarded only 230 million, up 9% and 95% reject the support requested by entrepreneurs and freelancers. The ICO is asking for more guarantees than asking the banks, I think there is an entity that stop out of the crisis worse. The ICO is for moments like this but it seems easier now to let him 250 million to the construction company ACS to 10,000 euros to the corner bakery.
I guess it's better then go for a business that does not need much initial capital to start ...
Is certainly not a bad idea, although there are many aid sectors such as technology. Frankly, Spain is now the country with more aid for R & D, but there are doubts that. Credits are repayable over five years, we'll see when the time comes who will return. Then there are private investors, venture capital type funds or business angels. But to find such investors must be a business with prospects make millions, not worth a company of three young people who may be aspiring to achieve three salaries to live.
Is there too much desire to be an officer from a young age?
That's a big deficit. People want to be a footballer, and if that does not come out, have a seat for life. We in Spain 3 million employees and 3.2 million self-employed, almost on par, which is an outrage. In the U.S., the proportion is 18% of staff for 82% of self. We need at least 1.5 million more to go self-recovering the 3 million jobs lost with the crisis, and we can still take 6 or 7 years to do so.
And too much bureaucracy?
In Spain it takes 49 days to start a business, a lot compared to 3-4 days in Belgium, the UK 7 days and 12 days on average in the OECD. There have been attempts to stop, but only good for companies too typical. It is something that government should fix.
Also spoke about the fear of failure of the entrepreneur.
We live in a society that does not allow second chances. If a business closes is stigmatized and is a failure. That does not happen elsewhere, because throughout history may have successes and failures. Here, if the first does not work, your own people say: do not try it again, go to work at a bank. Can you give a ball with a company and a great idea? And a few balls there. Gone are the days of the brick, and that's good. SL were mounted buying apartments at 'x' millions to sell more expensive. Companies were created, but not to create jobs but to speculate. Many have disappeared, and the purge has been good, but on the road also missing other things that were dedicated to more reasonable

Very useful your comments Alexander.
Thank you for that vision so realistic! Help us to be wary of starting a business. As you say in the interview, we sell the best way forward is to be entrepreneurial, but if you do not know how to undertake a risk it may be very, very big.

Natalia
