Some thoughts on digital identity
A few days ago this blog turned 1 year.
There was a transcendental event to celebrate not having to publish the typical post "a year of Blog" frightens me, ie fully understand that it was a fact that has provided totally expendable is right, but if I even used to quickly, think about the concept of digital identity that is so much talk lately.
Do you generate a Digital YES or NO?
I know few people in the ICT sector that does not respond with a resounding "YES." Do not know if that could be collective intelligence.
Personally I am of those who respond to Galician. Digital Identity "YES or NO?. "It depends ... on who and for what."
The wisdom or otherwise of having a digital identity depends largely on an end, the object of it. Having visibility by having it simply ... I've never been a supporter and I've avoided for years. If you do not need my advice is do not you get it, you stay in quiet and low profiles, live better, much better.
There are people I know with a very active digital identity, much broader than their own professional or personal identity back, is what I usually think they are reflections, reflecting long profile online presence offline inconsequential. In fact, for some of these people, their "real work", to which, whatever their occupation, spending more time, is to take care and keep that digital identity as active, but often with no other object than that of gain visibility to obtain it.
If an order, you have a real need to participate and communicate in the background if you cultivate this identity, but first, find that reason, it can be anything from a personal or professional benefit to you or a contribution of that presence to your work and / or company.

I'm not the most appropriate to give advice and less on the field, but based on my limited experience "coming out of the closet, that is 1 year right across the line, I would recommend the following:
-- Participates actively, your blog, twitter, go to events ... yes yes ... that is clear, but provides no information sharing and consume only expect from others. Take a risk and share interesting issues, do not keep them for you.
-- Get wet: Be brave and real in your opinions, not just try to be politically correct, you can create some enemies, true, but this should motivate you up, no big man has not.
-- Be generous. Do not just participate in your media. You like to comment on my blog, do the same in the other, listen and participate.
-- It brings fresh air originality. Believe me blogs talking and analyzing the same issues this internet full. Stick to what you know that the last Google press release does not make you talk about issues that you might not know at first hand and where you can contribute. Leave that useless work for the general media.
-- Meet people, it enriches you. Non-judgment, you will learn things from many people who might fall ill for your virtual image and then you can discover people who are bright and majisima, far from the reality that sometimes reflects the net.
See, so, without eating or drinking, I made the typical post "1 year blog" avoiding holder so that gave me creeps.

A year gives much, Alejandro, if pursued over time, as you have demonstrated with this blog with your twitter ... So you plenty of incentive to celebrate the first anniversary of the blog, I think, and to continue unabated during currándotelo at least the next 12 months, which many readers will appreciate your day.
I found very interesting this reflection, and I've played in ForumDominios.com forum, if you think wrong.
greetings
Alejandro good reflection, I agree with you.
Having a digital identity must-or should-respond to a goal, as well as the time and effort that is invested can be lost privacy.

Could not agree more.
Actually almost every day I ponder the fact myself seriously with a personal blog and participate in twitter, but I spent over 15 hours a day to study and develop your own project. I respect and admire those who can combine their entrepreneurial activity or employment with an active digital profile, however let me add that there is much social media around masturbation.
