I'm going to enjoy myself

I admit I do not like that I put on my agenda items especially if Google!, But the step they have taken the Hombres G with the launch of hombres.tv, compels me to comment on some things that go through my head.

CD sales fell last year in Spain about 40%, a frightening scenario and friends deserve the record companies .... It is a recent trend of record companies in their intent to seek other revenue, the force to take part in the single leg of the business that did not control, the tours of artists.

Do not know if that is the case of Hombres G. I would love it clarified, but if you have taken this step, it is because they certainly are up to the cap of a section of broken aristocrats of socks they look in the belly between them and sow not, but in a disastrous fait accompli apply the "behind the pit of my" leaving a legacy of scorched earth behind them. Not create value, do not believe in the future, very little worry that their results today.

Web 2.0 is a suitable vehicle in Spain today for this type of jump, but it will not be a bed of roses, and I think it will be necessary to be very convinced that the effort involved and a possible scenario " crossing the desert, this jump must be clear and unequivocal medium-long term, no further proof. Where can bring Web 2.0 to a music group?

Perhaps most importantly, will make you the master of your career, you can be free and enjoy. If the model is intended only to distribute digital music over the internet, piracy and collide with the problems of current distribution channel, change the chip, possession and consumption of music is not the end but perhaps part of means to achieve greater goals.

There is a moment - an opportunity while adjusting the majors labels. In fact I think there is a long hole course in Spain to create a new type of company, much closer to users and the artists themselves, who use the Internet as the only means through a more dynamic and benefiting from the advantages of the web 2.0.
