Luca A few days ago opened his blog, which is a must read for lovers of the world of marketing and advertising. Indeed Luca is a Consultant and has been Director of Marketing apasioantes companies such as Nestle, but well above his brilliant career I would highlight his vision open the world of marketing and openness to new technologies.
I like the way it treats the announcement of Carrefour. The ads are Carrefour, said with a smile if you read that Pascal was not pissed off a search for "the worst of the worst" as a communicative goal, the pure surrealism Dali. Satirization words, a social and a search of the absurd for the absurd, in this case with the Italians who spend their holidays in Spain.
Luca fits well the funny punch that the Italians take ... (as the name may reveal a glimpse, Luca, is made in Italy)
Tb Great comments on YouTube, the sense of humor sells:
I, who have one day something complicated, I can not stay to eat, and I fear that neither the party nor spend the whole day, but I hope to spend some time in the morning to hear some of the presentations, as well as being by evening at 17.00hrs when you talk with Javier Casares in "Methods of Generating Hearings.
Of course we are the last, I hope it is people to listen

It goes without saying that my father is a public employee for competition, is a surgeon at the Hospital de la Paz in Madrid. What I mean by this is that I am not suspected of anything personal against the group of public servants, being an official is an option as any.
There are people who take risks and become entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs. Others however prefer the security of working for the state. Everything is respectable and I want to enteinda my position, that is fine officer who wants to be, which does not seem normal that there's 3,000,000 in a country with 18,000,000 workers.
What really gets me and I think flipante is the number of staff we have in Spain, 3,000,000 people live in growing our tax and national officials of the Autonomous Communities, with dozens of national and local dual posts.
In Spain there are 3 million. Yes, 3 million in a country of 44 million inhabitants. In 2008 the number of civil servants grew by 116,000. What does that mean? That in 2008, when we have seen it coming over, Spain with 2 webs, hired 10% of the total number of staff is in Germany in a single year.
In the European train, a country with 100 million inhabitants there are 1.2 million civil servants. Yes, that brings us to a scenario in Spain, 1 officer for every 14 people, and in Germany every 83. In Spain nearly 20% of people with working social security contributions, are civil servants.
Where does this lead us?
In a scenario in which the state maintains tens of thousands of posts, many of them difficult to justify in unproductive hours of 9 to 3, and guaranteed "for life" as she collapses entrepreneurship, it triggers the closure and dramatically reduces the number of freelancers. That money monthly is a huge burden on social security costs, salaries etc that could be reinvested to support business initiatives, infrastructure and so on.
How many self-employed in Spain?
Currently about 3.2 million almost almost like servants. And every day, because of the crisis an average of 400 are pointed to unemployment, that is, reduced in 2008 an average of 12,000 per month self, lie to increase the number of staff in some 9,600 new ones each month.
In 2008 it was closed 65% more companies than last year, only in the first quarter of 2008 were closed 8,500 companies in Spain. In the same period were recruited by public funds 30,000 staff.
Is this sustainable?
In my opinion NO, says little of the industrial, business and entrepreneurial culture of a country have so many public employees as freelancers. A true reflection of that reality is the small number of projects and initiatives that come out to the front by themselves.
In fact if we make a table we see that self vs officials in major industrialized countries where the ratio of self vs. ... staff is larger than Spain and Italy.
Does it make sense in 2009 the culture of "a job for life" when we learned (to milk, but only what we have learned it) that even this "brick, as an investment for life" made sense?
Why is no one talking about this? Nobody dares, let alone election period, to speak up and say that a developed country, a major world economies can not be 18 million workers affiliated to the Social Security 3 Million public employees?
3 Million people in any group (unemployed, pensioners, short lady .... Whatever) and leaves a powerful lobby out of the political battle of whether or not reasonable that those things are well. Nobody wants to go to an election by announcing it would cut staff numbers, because only they and their families would be an insurmountable 6-7 lobby Millions of votes they better not confront.
To see them come and stand for any opoción to see if carguillo drops a lifetime.
PD. Yesterday I had already written this post, in a very nice dinner with Jaime Estevez (who broke the dessert in a hurry, again pardon Jaime) Jaime told me that in France are more or less like us. I was very surprised to know
They talked about events, dating, to engage in Spain ... I think Carlos was very good and I like to hear. I hit the code of embled Cope and down the mp3 in this alternate server because sometimes fails.
This is a short video at the output of the past First Tuesday with the guys from Agora News:
Sometimes agencies want to be as innovative giving a new twist on the account.
This is in my opinion what happened to Trina versus Fanta.
Fanta has tried to "go beyond" being funny, cool, disruptive, and have a couple of laps more than they would have been desirable. The result questionable and sometimes ridiculous in my opinion poorly produced on an idea that could have been fun to teach intended to survive the crisis:
In the street Trina, soda without bubbles formerly Trinaranjus, find the same effect on his campaign prior to summer and makes me understand more closely together, fun and successful. Winks to the shabby-tv (Ramon Garcia), a social networking profile with the words and the clarity and sympathy of the message makes clear:
In comparison, Fanta thrashed out. A much more modest budget like Trina gets a much better result and I'm sure his campaign will be a huge success. Many familiar friends even wonder if Fanta is a joke after seeing him several times.
They are topical and are cyclical. The'll hear again and again. I think the best is to take them with a certain philosophy. I'm not saying not so, I'm saying is that they be something like "that wolf" many years.
If you do a few laughs with them you may find yourself very offended someone throw you a thousand data to justify and argument. Do not rebates, possibly making it to heart because 13 years is not hearing them. I certify that I have heard cyclically since 96 ... and still hope to be fulfilled.
- The mobile is the future (the Universe):
The rest did not exist, the world begins and ends at the mobile. If you are not working on mobile applications and services do not exist. The first time I heard this many years ago. At that time was one of the keywords to attract venture capital money.
- The role will disappear:
It's great because I've been doing it 10 years ... this is the absolute migration to digital media in the media. I do not share the idea at all. I think if that technical news magazines are going to go wrong and have to make the leap, I think it will sell fewer newspapers and that the way to consume news is changing. Yes, but I also believe that large publishers headers, for example elmundo or Country will always be there and always will be reflected on paper. Still, I bet that within 10 years, we are still waiting for the complete disappearance and defending it "left the paper two days.
- Online advertising will eventually explode and eating up the TV:
Spain is still a market for Internet advertising too small. Since 98 just smile when I delivered a new report that tells me the usual: the medium is the future, will triple sales in the coming years, the Internet search advertising branding from media such as television, magazines or radio, in England investment volume exceeds the Internet and television ... etc ... we'll see if I can see it here
I leave the last time marketing program Cope Barcelona, this time we had in antenna Icaro Moyano, communications director of Tuenti, he always says interesting things and it's very quick reflexes and a good communicator.

(I have removed the Cope embled that seems not to work)

Lucky if you are motivated to participate!
It's funny but the picture is changing, and I do not dare say for the worse, and certainly not better, just different.
In the last quarter, we received dozens of proposals for trade "advertising by product" of the advertiser, to which I have always poker face. Frankly many of these proposals I have been seeing the writing was not a lot of credit.
Making some memory in Entertainment Networks have been exchanges of proposals published by Iberian products (hams and loins) of oil, printer-copiers, club sports, games consoles and equipment, mobile phones, restaurants in Madrid of professional communication services and attorneys .. . all in a quarter and I'm sure I left some. Very curious to me.
I have always been closed to band such actions, in fact I have been grinding deeply and I have not come to see a lot of sense, but I changed some time ago with my chip and market perception and acknowledge that I said " ... and if one is really interesting and there are synergies ... and why not? ". I think we should know how to adapt to the times and need to know in a moment of lack of liquidity establish some business relationships below the line, which, if they are interesting despite the absence of a standard trade (mostly small claims, juvenile Eur 10,000 and advertising aimed at specific niches) in the future could when certain situations return to normal trade relations become stable and stronger.
I also believe that just as we have advertising from large corporations, whether for branding and sales, are small and medium enterprises that have been alienated from our advertisers pull. I do not think that's good and in a moment where you can still have contact with small and medium customers in a specific niche like blogs, one must make an effort and try to keep fit.
Tonight I will be pleased to speak on the First Tuesday in Madrid next to Angel Maria Herrera and Emilio Marquez, and moderated by Carlos Blanco. Talk on "Launch in Times of Crisis" and tells me there and Carlos about 200 people registered.
It is my pleasure to share some time with Angel Maria, Carlos and Emilio and always visits the First Tuesday post interesting contacts with people in the industry do not know, or that comes to propose things.
