If we were talking for months of back to the garage, and today many projects waiting for funding and that, I think that some people would have gotten under normal circumstances (though generally less so than their claims) are turning to project incubators ( will have to ride one!) that was a step that seemed forgotten or at least had a secondary trend as before if there were interesting amounts of money directly to projects Seed.
I see some entrepreneurs that have been released to the pool, who have risked and have bundled the blanket to the head with simple means. A romantic idea, but usually very difficult without a proper ho kno and an industrial partner. Lucky for them.
I see others who have gotten under the umbrella of an incubator, with a little financial support generally, getting to work and looking forward, however little and move the clock in search of better times.
Finally I also see others, some of which passed through my office and sold me his idea forward, and that they should have it largely forgotten today because some have found jobs and have forgotten about it or even otherwise, without having found their work directly forgotten.
I'm not one to judge these initiatives, each in their lives should do what interests you and find their own way, but it reminds me a bit to the situation experienced in the middle of Internet bubble. 1 year before saw with amazement as people left the financial sector bank where he worked and rode his startup, was a matter of money, yes, but frankly I think it was also a hot topic. All these people-and some more-left the sector with the bursting of the bubble. Now many others are also coming, some by more tangible opportunity outside, others simply because they have surrendered.
Why is this happening?
Because many of the projects that pass through my hands are intangible. We have an idea, we have an illusion and monetization "and will", "will be advertising." It's time need not give you 100,000 euros to set up a startup, I think it is a time of natural selection, defined ... but mostly it's time to have a REAL business plan with an economic objective that allows your company is held by itself in the medium term and will not need to go to endless rounds of financing without meaning or end.
I kept thinking that you and inspire you as an example in 20-30 of international ideas without real economic model has been successful and are worth tens of millions of euros, that to you, and more from Spain, it will happen. Displaying the American examples in particular, but also French, German, English, Japanese and Nordic countries, this morning I asked myself where the University is in Spain in the field of encouraging entrepreneurs and business being the quarry of new technologies. Push, formal finding industry partners to support and validate the project.
In a nice chat the other day with Raul Mata, the Ideas Factory Digital Initiatives told me over the Polytechnic University to encourage entrepreneurs and be a true incubator to validate research projects and technology. The idea seems exciting. But we are clear on this point in 2009 I find it striking.
I do not think that the best university you can move projects forward, better educated than the realities of building no. We can generate better or worse students measurement, but also could draw from the University (which for these things if they have sufficient means) batches of entrepreneurs and projects, they will originate from the university, there are shot and are validated and to be moving forward are interesting and have an internal support contacts with industry partners, business angels, business sector, with access to finance, and investors, but also with involvement of people involved with the university that serves as a filter and validation of the idea.
To me, if I get an interesting technology project, approval from a prestigious Spanish university, with travel within it, and having spent filters serious and moving forward with a veneer of viability, that would encourage me more to support and invest.
Yes, I know that now someone is sending me email examples of universities that "invest" in "support" act as nurseries etc. But let's be serious, not budgets that often end up where ever, let's create and draw businesses really. Is it feasible that within the University has supported projects that grow from the faculty as a nursery and out of it?. Do you know any case?
Any business angel involved with any public or private university in the second phase project to support and validate her? . Any instance of Internet and technology project that has won out in the university? Eye, and I mean not created by academics, but being born from the same university as an umbrella for support.

Lately I have the "ass pelao" already verBusiness Plans. None has ever been sent to me directly or indirectly by a university. None of which reached me via other means has had never supported or has been endorsed by any university or public or private. We limit ourselves to go to college when we are invited to give a talk, or that the real issue is bidirectional proactive as it should.
In my view, here, there's something wrong.
I will not discover anything new, but perhaps if they can stage a graphically or domain expertise that we use after a brief spell in domain parking.
I doubted very much if you have not used the domains parked. Especially because as I've said on occasion the idea of our domain portfolio is not for sale, but development. Of course if it could offer a good value on sale, but that's not the idea.
