También recuerdo algunos, y al menos cuento 3 buenos amigos que por recortes de presupuesto en la mayoría de los casos han sido despedidos de sus compañías en los últimos 3 meses . A alguno de ellos he podido recolocarlo en mis compañías, lamentablemente no a los tres. Es la parte más humana y más dura de esta situación tan enrarecida.
Es curioso, pero es real, todo afecta y en el sector hemos sido muy soberbios ante la llegada de la crisis los primeros meses con argumentos tipo “a las TICs no les toca esta vez, el sector está mucho más maduro que hace años, o la publicidad online seguirá creciendo igual aunque alrededor se desplome el mundo”. Nadie usa ya estos argumentos, y creo que las oportunidades están en notar el cambio de ciclo meses antes que los demás.
Veo en las últimas semanas muchos motivos de esperanza dentro del sector y veo sobre todo reacciones tras el susto, compañías que ya se ponen de verdad a trabajar pasado el shock. Espero que no sean simplemente motivo de la estacionalidad que hace que en Diciembre todo valga y se tengan que finiquitar los presupuestos aprobados hace más de un año.
A nivel macroeconómico ver el petróleo a 47US$ barril (eh! Que estaba hace 3 meses a 150US$!!), el Euribor bajando del 3,7 por primera vez en 3 años, el Banco Central Europeo recortando como nunca, y avisando que seguirá haciéndolo, el precio del dinero … si, sólo son indicadores, pero afectan a nuestras vidas a medio plazo y hacen pensar que esto repuntará aen unos meses y que todo mejorará.
Personalmente creo que lo negativo será el paro , seguirá cayendo aumentando en 2009 sobre todo porque las medidas que se han ido tomando y números macroeconómicos tardan en trasladarse a la economía real y aun debería caer bastante el empleo por eso (hay escenarios pesimistas que hablan de cerca de 4 millones de parados en España antes del verano). Pero confío en que tras un Enero y Febrero especialmente duros, justo antes del verano sea palpable el repunte.
Yo, como decía en las últimas semanas veo a mi alrededor que se ha retomado el ritmo frenético, de acuerdos, inversiones, y planes de futuro que estaban un poco congelados. Nosotros por nuestra parte hemos dejado solamente 1 proyecto en el congelador por un tema político, y me da pena porque tenía mucha esperanza en el y espero poder retomarlo en breve, es el proyecto de Madrid.net para el que no vamos a tener tantos fondos disponibles como preveíamos y habrá que replantearlo un poco. Como contraprestación lanzaremos 2 filiales que no teníamos previstas y que iré anunciando, la primera en Enero y llevamos ya trabajando 1 mes intenso en ello.
Espero que no sea un espejismo y que esto en 6 meses vaya rápidamente para arriba. Nosotros vamos a meter gasolina desde ya a los productos que preparamos apostando que así es. Fuimos de los primeros en tomar precauciones reales, y me gustaría ser de los primeros en incorporarnos al despegue, ya que eso es un tremendo factor competitivo; siempre es más fácil acelerar cuando ya se va en marcha, que tener que encender el coche en ese momento.
Espero no equivocarme.
