Keys to undertake: Concern

This week we are particularly busy, since the introduction in the middle of next Wednesday Yes.fm until finalizing the assembly of office and selection of personnel ocio.net, and have up to 11 business plans and projects to look carefully over the table ... that is why Monday, no update my blog (for my yellow card).

As I said a lot of projects, ideas, and business development on the table. Some as a possible investment, others simply entrepreneurs who have had the courtesy to send me yours and seek advice or opinion.

First of all I say I love seeing projects. First by its own selfishness, I "keep alive" even in times of market circumstances in which our own (other projects, work load, lack of liquidity) can not participate in any of them but if you value the idea, and as far as I am able to offer an opinion that might be wrong, but it will always be sincere and based on my experience.

I have read in recent weeks in some blogs, like that of Carlos Blanco, or is not money, or the last of them Emilio Marquez finally demystifies that "the idea."

And I once said in a post about it, I am more concerned about the idea that the entrepreneur, if an entrepreneur has the wood, you may need to try several times, but come. I think the best that has defined Emilio Marquez was quoted a saying that "for a $ 1 - $ 1,000,000 to develop."

But the entrepreneur is not everything. There are cases of people extremely valid on the role that often is left in the way "stuck and unable to move forward. There, in that role falls intangible I call a "concern."

The concern of undertaking, believing in your own project by the fighting and give up for it, to rethink and redefine if necessary, to know to take a step back in order to then take two forward. It is an intangible, something that is measured or not will be reflected in an Excel ever, and that is one of the lines between a Director General to be a frustrated entrepreneur, an entrepreneur who will never be a Director General frustrated. That plus the "modus vivendi" is one of the greatest assets to discover in an entrepreneur. Not better or worse than not have it, it's just different

Analyzing the projects that I have on the table, which take weeks to see even slower, you can not find this spirit. You can see good projects, good ideas, powerful teams on paper, or even interesting areas of good prospects business, and values are important, but I personally find a project where my attention, before defining what I want is to "know" the entrepreneur, eat with him, spend some days with him, chat, and its vision My measuring intangibles, including my feeling about "concerns" to undertake. And those values, you can not even find an Excel spreadsheet or a power point.
