The importance of partners: Team Yes.fm

Any project must have a full team of founders behind. It is obvious, necessary and healthy. In my opinion on everything must be very complementary profiles.

A few days ago I read an interesting post for 1 year and peak! Angel Maria which included a sarcastic comment without wasting Axel Serena with which I laughed a lot (and I recommend reading).

The draft Yes.fm believe there is a very special and as we have not given 14 months on many details about the project wanted to comment, even minimally, who are behind it and why I am particularly happy group's founders created .

A project of this size devoted to the music of the 2.0 needed ingenuity of many people and the proper functioning of many fields. It is very important to know that behind some of these key areas are some of the partners Yes.fm as a fellow boat.

Firstly for a project so ambitious it is important to have an entrepreneurial know-how and extensive business experience with successful ventures, it is here that involved Hugues de Montfalcon, Christophe and Frederic Cassand Terri, three people that I was lucky enough to know in his earlier stage When Mediafusión bound for Spain, a leader in telecommunications services. The acquired in late 2000 when billed 2.5 million euros, sold 4 years later to a French group, Jet Multimedia, and when they finally leave their posts in mid-2007, the company employs 120 people and achieves a turnover of over 81 million euros.

Another of the critical points of our project is the image, design and creativity. We opted for a look and feel young and aggressive, I think it certainly is risky and unconventional, and that is where Oscar Mendez is the key. Oscar is creative advertising and has worked in Spanish and international agencies (HDM, Eurocom, Tandem, DDB, The OMG, Presentalia), also has several international awards including a Silver Lion at Cannes for an announcement of TVE, a Bronze Lion at Cannes for spots IFEMA and SOON, various awards at the Advertising Festival in London and NYC, and so on. He is ultimately responsible for creativity in-house project.

Of course being a musical project, knowledge and link with industry is important, and Kiko Fuentes has been for 10 years Director General of Warner Music Spain. It has also actively participated in the development and launch of artists like Alejandro Sanz, Madonna, Mana, Eric Clapton, REM and dozens of artists bringing their knowledge of the sector, their contacts and strategic vision are key to the project.

Yes.fm hopes to expand to over 2009, primarily to the French-speaking Europe (Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Switzerland) and there Hugues de Montfalcon brings to the team a great experience in the world of broadcasting, being Chairman of the Group Rouge FM, leader of the traditional radio and digital music in French-speaking Switzerland. Hughes also was a founding partner of the French group Jet Multimedia, sold to Telecom Italia in 2000 as part of a takeover bid for 886 Million Euros.

Finally, I, for one, I hope I can put my little grain of sand making the little that I know of knowledge of internet business web, SEO positioning, alliances, online strategy and development.

I sincerely believe that the founding team is really powerful and well-defined ... and here I can read!. I think there are good foundations ... and a lot of work ahead.
